Becky has been admitted to practice law since 2004 representing clients throughout the Hudson Valley, primarily in Dutchess, Ulster, Orange, Putnam, Rockland and Westchester counties. Becky’s practice has been focused in the areas of municipal law, land use and zoning law, real estate contracts and related litigation. Clients have included a broad range of mixed-use and commercial developers, small businesses, farmers, non-profits and private landowners. She regularly appears before City/Town/Village boards, Planning Boards, Zoning Boards of Appeal, as well as State agencies including the Department of Agriculture and Markets. In addition to her land use work, Becky has comprehensive experience in Article 81 guardianship matters, litigated Surrogate’s Court matters, and business formation and transactions.

Becky served in the public sector as Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of Poughkeepsie for two years, where she gained experience in labor and employment law, defending the City in grievances, arbitrations, proceedings before the New York Public Employment Relations Board and the New York State Division of Human Rights. In addition, she handled all legal issues for the Poughkeepsie Housing Authority including Summary Proceedings under RPAPL Article 7 and administrative lease termination proceedings pursuant to HUD regulations.

Becky has always had a passion for her work as a lawyer. In 2021, Becky decided to take that passion along with her years of experience to open her own office. The daughter and granddaughter of dairy farmers, Becky was raised with the knowledge that self-employment requires discipline and pride in your work.

For this reason, Becky particularly enjoys providing services to small businesses or farmers.

Outside of work, Becky enjoys attending concerts and exercising
